Oh, there’s so many sausage jokes that could and should be made here.

The owners of a German butchery were surprised to discover that a customer was using their sausages to hide two sex toys. A man who spoke broken English had purchased two large Schwartenmagen sausages at the store earlier in the day, then had returned and asked the owners to store the wrapped sausages in their coolroom until he collected them and headed off to Dubai. Noticing the sausages were heavier they alerted police and discovered that two “latex dildos with a natural look” had been hidden inside the hollowed-out sausages.

Ananova has alerted me to the fact that the city of Kiev in Russia has just opened a toilet museum. I know this because they also reported that a patron was arrested for making use of one of the exhibits. Now they’ve got signs that say “Not For Use.”

The toilet museum takes visitors through the entire history of the modern loo from its earliest beginnings as a hole in the ground to modern-day toilets with all mod-cons.

There is even a section dedicated to toilets of the future.

I went looking for further information about this new Russian museum and instead found a huge site which is also called The Toilet Museum. This is a mega-compendium of toilet articles and information, and it also has a celebrity toilet gallery. This features photos of famous people on (or in) the crapper, including the Elle Macpherson pic here.

In fact, when you get to the bathroom sounds section, you start wondering about what posseses the owner of the website to compile such a huge temple to the toilet. But then, here I am blogging about it, so who am I to criticise?

The world’s only penis museum in Iceland has 195 specimens of animal penises on display including the doodles of hamsters, horses and whales. Curator Sigurdur Hjartarson has been collecting them since 1974.
