Um, I am the Yogchick you are referring to. You have an interesting blog and your article on slash fiction posits a lot of interesting scenarios and potential issues.

For what it's worth, I try to be respectful of George Michael. I also try to avoid scenarios that involve actual people in his life/family. I did, however, break my own rule by writing a piece of fiction of George Michael and his real-life boyfriend Kenny. The story is situated almost 10 years ago when they first met ... I'll leave it at that. Although many people responding to my poll want another GM/Kenny story, I've decided to leave it to just one story because it's a little weird writing fiction that could be or not be the present reality.

Most of my stories involve GM and a made-up fictional person. I don't know how the legal issues play out in this new genre, but my intentions are true and honorable. If anything, I just try to make GM look like a rockstar in bed ... somehow I don't think he would mind!

The only bump in the road I've so far hit is a request from the Administration of George Michael's fanclub forum asking me not to talk about my erotic blog because every time I do they get bombarded with indignant/angry emails from other members imploring them to do something censorship-wise. They very nicely asked me not to talk about my blog in any of my posts, but they also wished me luck with the blog.
